About the Association for Spirituality and Mental Health
The Association for Spirituality and Mental Health evolved out of two successful international conferences on spirituality and mental health, both held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, co-chaired by the Department of Psychiatry of the University of Ottawa and the Ontario Multifaith Council on Spiritual and Religious Care.
It was launched at the Third International Conference on Spirituality and Mental Health, held at St. Paul University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, May 3-4, 2007.
